RE: List of the Undelivered

I would quite support the idea of allowing downvoting or weighted voting on the DHF proposals, making it more similar to how anyone curates on Hive.

In theory I agree, but then it also becomes a contentious issue where people are downvoting based on personal beef. That is no way to develop.

I reckon the people with stake remember to vote on the proposal too - but unsure.

Sort:

Well, people also don't vote based on personal disbelief... so it would be the same. Would there be more pressure on the DHF to please the community? yes! Definitely... Would there be more high stakes that could change the game? yes too... but at the same time, that would be all the more DAO thing, no?... DAOs can't have bias... they should be based on community expression.

And to develop new applications or new solutions should be the focus of the DHF, not maintaining stuff or keeping something alive because it can find a way to sustain long term. That's my view at least.

The good proposals will find the best balance between up/downvotes. Plus, the fact that people would be able to introduce weighted voting would not throw it all away, as in, voting between the ones that have more HP, a sort of battle.

I would even say, total voting power should be split between proposals, to avoid people voting YES for ALL of them... kind of thing. The same for downvoting... that way people can put an effort on what matters to them first.

Anyhow, chatting is what makes this an amazing place in my view. Even if people don't agree at first start.
