We recreate ourselves every day, even whist breaking apart.
And we are creating ourselves for better, but mostly worse I suspect. Each decision to not improve, is a choice to degrade.
Yet our brains find a kind of permanence or belief in permanence.
"I am always me, even though who I am today is unrecognisable to who I was 45 years ago."
So why is "me" important to hold onto?
