I don't know if I would call it unhappiness,
"I am unhappy with how my project is going, so I will improve it"
Unhappiness comes in many degrees, no matter the label.
and that is often just not worth it...
It depends on where it is focused. Many people compete and look to improve what doesn't matter. Most of the global resources are spent on what doesn't matter for human improvement.
