The aim is to keep them light and conversational, though some might be heavier - regardless of the content topic itself though, just have some fun engaging and discussing with whoever happens to put in the effort in the comments section below.
We Talk Friday Ep. 74: Getting Chilly
1. I'm Thaw!
An 81 year old man and how 70 year old brother have been fined 2000 and 640 euros respectively for keeping their dead parents in freezers for 30 years. Apparently home cryogenics is illegal and they were charged with violating the sanctity of a grave. However, it was the wish of their parents to have this happen, so is it really a crime? Oh - one of the freezers had stopped working years earlier.
Personally, I want to be thrown into the forest for the animals to eat and feed the trees.
2. Protected Identity
Over the last years there have been many stories about rape and domestic violence and lots of men behaving badly. And pretty much, as soon as the allegations are made, the men's names are published and their lives and careers are ruined. I have no problem with ruined lives of assholes, but the problem is that some time later, many of these men are acquitted of the crime and often, the original allegations have proven false. If the courts have an innocent until proven guilty doctrine, but the person suffers the consequences of being guilty at the point of being charged, isn't that a broken system?
3. Plankety Plank
And I don't know if this is good news or not, but it is pretty impressive to say the least. A 61 year old woman from Canada beat her own world record for holding a plank position with a new mark of five hours. Five fucking hours!!! I don't think I could sit in the same spot for five hours straight, or lay. My planking record is about 47 seconds.

Unless they murdered their parents before stuffing them in the freezer, there's no crime. As I see it, no victim, no crime.
Me too. They died of natural causes bad were released to them. My property, my rules.
Man the first one is just a little weird for my taste. Yeah, I am sorta like you, just want to be cremated and be done with it.
On the sexual assault cases. With you, if they are guilty, cut off their junk. But cases have shown that we should hold judgement.
My fat ass couldn't hold a plank for 30 seconds I imagine. Dont even want to think about trying.
They lose jobs, sponsors, schooling and whatever else - and none of it comes back.
None of it, even when found innocent.

During COVID I was practicing plank at home, think I got up to 5 minutes, it wasn't too bad when you put some music on. But 5 hours? I'm thinking about the physical needs side, in and out 🤔

Yesterday I saw a post on facebook. According to it trump is declaring anyone who doesn't call AI superintelect an enemy? I also heard that he keeps bragging that he got a great score in IQ test(that was not even a real IQ test in a first place?)

I don't. But talking about trump it would not surprise me if that was true.
Not necessary every wish to be fulfilled. Besides how can we be sure that it was the last wish of their parents. If it's allowed many people will take advantage doing similar things. And it's against the law of nature as the nutrients are not returning back to the nature.
I think it's a broken system. I believe that the person who accused the person with false information should be punished in live and the punishment should be death after torturing and it will make people afraid to accuse anyone wrongly.
Eventually, all of it returns to nature.
Is that what it is like where you are?
No. But I wish there were such a system.
The third topic "the plankety plank". I believe she broke the record held by her to recreate another and a new record.
It's always nice to try something new mostly something that you are fully convinced that it possible.
Yeah, she beat it by a half hour or so. I don't get how someone can do that :)
I guess she was ambitious to break her own record by planning, training and finally achieved it.

Hours of planking is insane, I have done good form plank in the past and 3 minutes was really hard!
I think we should be allow to do what we like when it comes to what we own as long as it doesn’t affect people around us. Like the case of freezing the dead. To me I really don’t buy the idea because it may have a negative impact on our environment since the children are not professionals to start it and why keeping the death when it is meant to be buried?
In the issue of rape and scandal. Many men have been a victim of false accusations and our society doesn’t care too much about men I must say. Nobody cares to ask how a male child is doing or coping and mostly they were not taught on how to behave. It is as if they were just wired to live life on their own. A lot of good men have met their misfortune through false accusations and couldn’t recover. There is should be punishment for such behaviour from the government to whosoever raised a false alarm or accusation against another for personal gain.
😂 It's really funny having a corpse in the freezer for donkey years. I don't think that is really needful. When someone has died, his importance has ceased. We are only important as long as we are alive. The dead is nothing better than a dung for the refuse dung.

That freezer story is wild especially knowing one of them broke down at some point. I am with you on the forest idea though since letting nature just take over makes way more sense.
Just burn me, I don't need to be taking up all that space when I am gone!
