Yes, we have daylight savings time where I live.
I have a love/hate relationship with it. I have a steady routine and, unless I am on vacation, most of my days each week have a similar structure. I like structure and routine.
Daylight Savings Time interrupts up my routine for the first few days as I adjust. I dislike this because I like routine and espcially loathe the one where I lose an hour. On the other hand, I think it's healthy to have an occasional change and mix up my routine. I like this challenge and use it as an opportunity to evaluate my morning routine as I wake earlier or later.
Structure is legit. It's similar to discipline, and that's also legit.
I understand what you're saying and am the same actually, always challenging the structure, what's normal and (possibly) in need of a change; that way things improve, or are, at least, confirmed to be legit just the way they are.
As for DST, I don't like the manufactured concept and how it shows humans to be unable or unwilling to accept and work with the world around them; some may say that's somewhat closed minded of me, and that's ok, their choice to think how they think.
