You waste a lot of your life wanting others to apologize. Apologize without apologizing. Forgive without forgiving. There are things in life that cannot be forgiven. Let go... Simply let go.
Don't bother with people and places that don't want you, that don't care about you, or that don't deserve you.
Let it go.
Not everything can be forgiven. Are you going to forgive those who don't want forgiveness? Who doesn't fight for forgiveness? Who doesn't struggle for forgiveness?
It's the other person who has to make an effort to reach an understanding, the other person who has to change to correct their behavior. Not you.
So why don't you let that thought out of your head?
No matter how difficult and painful the moment may be, we can all live reasonably safely today.
But the weight of tomorrow added to the weight of yesterday, when dragged day after day, can bring down even the strongest man.
And before I learned to practice this, I wasted my energy and time on fears, worries, and anxieties that I couldn't control.
And then one day, I came across the following Psalm: “This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
This does seem easier. This is, in fact, and to a certain extent, quite achievable. Does this mean that we should make no effort today to prepare for tomorrow?
No. Absolutely not.
This means that the best way to prepare for “tomorrow” is to focus all our attention, all our care, all our intelligence on our work, on whatever we are doing now, so that it is as perfect as possible.
Why? Because, in truth, this is the only way to prepare for tomorrow. Or is it?
