As little as I like painting, it is the procrastination that is the worst part of that job. Once you get everything covered and out of the way, and the paint supplies ready, it is not that bad. The results are great too.
Moving?! FUCK THAT! I have move 3 times in my long life partly because I am generally happy where I am, and partly because the marathon of boxing everything up and confronting the shit I keep for some unknown reason. Definitely not a fan of moving.
Yeah, I don't like the taping part of painting. The actual painting is fine.
I volunteer to help friends, but hate moving myself.
You don't have to tape really but ya.
I subscribe to the idea that as soon as a case of beer and a pizza are not considered good rewards for a full day of manual labour, I am no longer helping people move. ;)
I once helped a colleague who didn't offer anything - and her house wasn't even packed!!!
