Making a homemade Taco Pizza is easy and delicious.
It all starts with a quality crust. I used flour, water, salt, cane sugar, yeast and garlic powder. I whipped up the dough and worked it into a ball. Then I spread out the dough into a thin layer and I made a crust. I preheated the oven to 400F.
I sprinkled some flour for good luck and then got out the tomato sauce, cremini mushrooms, sour cream, avocados, mayonnaise, pepperoncini's, crushed red peppers, Dubliners Cheese, refried beans and tortillas.
I added the tomato sauce, mushrooms and cheese and threw the pizza into the oven.
After the pizza had a nice golden look I took it out of the oven. Then I placed on all the "cold" ingredients on top. I am very happy with how the pizza turned out. However, I think I will use less yeast and also try to get a thinner crust next time. The pizza was a bit thicker that I thought it would come out [I haven't made pizza in a while].🍕🌮 It tasted amazing!
