My, my, what a thumping good read.
There’s a proverb among my people that says, ‘we begin by sleeping to learn how to die.’ There’s a very thin line between sleep and death. In sleep, we lose awareness of the physical world, and that’s exactly how death feels. We only get lucky to wake up I guess.
This was really educational. It’s not just a good read but it’s mentally stimulating.
I am so glad! I have two more chapters (and a conclusion) to come. I hope you enjoy the other parts equally. :)
I do not sleep very much, so I am not learning a lot. But I am a fast learner, so when I sleep better, does that mean the end is nigh?
I am looking forward to reading them :)
No. Lol. I think it means you at least get to experience a bit of what it feels like to be dead. Doesn’t mean that when you sleep better, the end is nigh. Sleeping better in my opinion means that you get to experience what it feels like to have a peaceful death but the nightmares could hint at what it feels like when one was cut short before their time and their spirit isn’t at rest.
