We often get this feeling that we're late, that we're left behind in life. But, the question is; behind who? Or late according to what?
This feeling I believe stems from comparison; like saying for example people my age have this and that, and I still lack these things. One crucial lesson to learn in life is that everyone has their unique timeline, and that what takes other people a year could take you much less than that.
All in all, as often said: comparison is the thief of joy. Anytime that you compare your life to anyone else's you'd feel unhappy about yours.
Also, I believe that obstacles and hurdles that we encounter along our way prepare us for much bigger and better things. For example: I spent a whole year trying to get rid of my debts, and I might think that was a year empty of progress but, I believe I'm a better and wiser person after this experience, and this is very painful experience would result in me getting ahead financially because I got to know how painful it is to be financially unstable.
This is just a reminder to be a little bit more kind to yourself, and forgive yourself for the mistakes and setbacks, they're preparing you for a much better life.
Hope this was helpful. I wish you the best of luck with your journey.
