I snapped a picture of our favourite black bird today in the garden! We've been feeding him for 5 years now, and he's like part of the family. He always waits near the kitchen door in the morning, eager for his breakfast. During these cold times, it's especially important to make sure he has enough to eat. Over the years, we've watched him go through all the seasons and change right before our eyes - from shedding and regrowing his feathers to nesting and feeding his chicks. It's such a joy to have this beautiful bird in our lives. Here's a picture of him today, just after enjoying his meal in the garden.
