Maybe the Last Sunset for the Season

Upstairs Window Sunset

5 pano129 cropped small.jpg
An edited five panel shot of the sunset out my upstairs window. I was a little late to hit up Tree Tuesday by @old-guy-photos, and really the trees just do not take center stage in this obvious sunset picture. But it was taken on a Tuesday, there was about 45 minutes to spare before it became Wednesday.

There are communities and tags for photographers and photos of all kinds, so share a shot, share a community, or share a tag.

So the above is a series of five shots, I initially did not plan on a pano style photo, so the first image was the second from the right, The tree on the far right was not in the first shot at all. I then thought well it would make a nice pano since I had my zoom lens on at 78mm, (that tiny bit of knowledge was after the fact of taking the picture), So the right hand shot was next then a guess-timate for the third shot heading to the left.

I was happy that Autostitch was able to make the connections these were all hand held photos.

I May have boosted the color a little bit to much the red/orange is beginning to bleed and blur a little bit, but it was still a nice sunset. Perhaps the last of the season, maybe not. We are approaching that time of year where the sun does not drop far enough behind the horizon for a real sunset. On the plus side if it is clear and the sun is going down and a full moon is rising, I might be able to get a nice colorful moon shot to share.

Tuesday was an okayish kind of day, and the sunset was nice to see as the day ended.
