It was a blustery day this morning which wasn't conducive to macrophotography. The flower heads were blowing and twisting all over the place and I had to time my shots between gusts. I managed to get a few good shots among the blurry ones.
There was a front coming in which we all hoped would bring some rain. But alas, it didn't rain here. The Boston Mycological Club actually had to cancel its Sunday mushroom foray this weekend; a rare occurrence. There just isn't much popping out of the mycelium. The drought rolls on...at least it is cooler now.
