This is a large mural showing a man or woman with salmon motifs. Unfortunately, it was behind a fence, so I did not see any information on the meaning behind it. Salmon has been very important for indigenous cultures of the Pacific Northwest in myth, legend, spirituality, and survival.

In some of their beliefs, animals like orcas and salmon are considered to have spirits that are tightly connected to the rivers and ocean. They also viewed salmon as a cyclical creature that always returned to sustain the people.

Yes, it could be a woman. It's common for indigenous men to wear long hair, so that's why I wasn't sure. It's impressive work.
