The hours pass. The miles go by. Voices, sounds, echoes. Was it a dream? Sights and smells. Sensations floating behind on the river of time. Now the city comes into view while the plane makes a turn, and the bright lights dot the dark landscape like glitter on the dress of the night. I'm finally home.

It was a cloudy day, so I didn't get many opportunities to photograph the city from the air, but thankfully I was able to snap the photo just as the plane descended below the clouds.
