Mythos

These rough texture reliefs on the concrete wall depict different figures surrounded by ornamental motifs associated with the people and natural environment of the Pacific Northwest. It is found on the grounds of the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) in the middle of a large plaza. In the background, rows of evergreens create an effect similar to that of Japanese gardens- an illusion of expansive geographic depth along spatial boundaries. The PNE has been operating since 1910, and it was home to the FIFA fest during the World Cup this year.
