Frontier women of British Columbia (BC) performed certain tasks with the few tools available, given that they were so far away from the rest of Canada and Britain. This dashing lady is dressed in clothing worn in the 1800s while demonstrating a loom to visitors at Fort Langley, which is according to accounts, the birthplace of what is now known as the province of BC.
