Hello Hive community!!
Yesterday posted about an exhibition in the museum named "Maternal" (mothering), the ling for the previos post is: Part 1.
Well, the entrance of the first room starts with this wall, each sheet is letter size, and each one is a tought about the fight for the woman's rights in the social, political and economic aspect. One central aspect there is that the activities as housewife are not paid, but instead is a perpetuated role, one that most women take without asking, because "is the normal", or "my husband works, so i should keep the house clean" and this extends to other responsabilities as the childbearing.

The askings for get this kind of work paid as not totally well seen, this is not only by the mens, but by the conservative or elderly women. Mentioned as a form of Estocolm syndrome, young womens are attacked by the elders in arguments like "why you spend such time studying, just get married and do your work" or the recognition of the working women, (for example, in my hospital work, the female patients ask "where is the doctor?" when a female doctor has just attended her)
Now, we see a generational change, a considerable proportion of young women don't look for having kids, in part because of the economic ambient, the search for a professional career, global warming and the recognition of the need of a functional family in the afective sense.
On the other hand, women, men and LGBT + seeking to raise children face social barriers. Women who want but are already of legal age, men who seek to be parents but child adoption centers are inclined for a woman to raise children and the LGBT + community with social and religious rejection.
