I took this photo with my Pixel 7 Pro this morning on the daily hike. For some reason, the Slowdive cover of the Velvet Underground's Some Velvet Morning stuck in my head. Sure, it's not quite the same in terms of sound as the original, but it is a shoegazer sound. I was not staring at my shoes this morning, however, and capture this image from a ridge afar the valleys below.
This is an amazing photo! The lighting is great. Looks like a painting, kind of.
I didn't know Velvet Underground did a version Some Velvet Morning. I just knew of the Nancy and Lee original and the Lydia Lunch punkish cover. I do like some Slowdive and I found their version on YouTube while I search for VU's version which I didn't find.
