The Rainbow, in the local Acehnese term, is known as Buleun Raja Timoh (The king's moon lives), a term closely related to mythological stories, which are very diverse in our area. I had been immersed in those mythical tales when I was a kid. No regrets! I'm sure there are various mythological stories related to this optical phenomenon in other communities.
The picture was taken in the afternoon in the area of Darut Island Pusong, Lhokseumawe, Aceh, Indonesia, using a Sony A7iii camera and a Sony FE 50mm F1.8 lens.
