One of the advantages of India is its richness in art. Few countries or regions can compare to it. In Southeast Asia, for example, a small town usually offers nothing but the familiar sight of replicas - standard temples and sculptures that the eye has long been used to. But India is different - here, almost every little town hides its own artistic treasures.
I was deeply impressed by this statue of a guru from Shri Bhani Nathji Ashram in Churu, Rajasthan, India. He resembles a child filled with awareness and will, and the bracelet in his hands seems to grant him the power to alter reality. One turn - and you’re on an astral journey.
The photo was taken by me with a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G on a full-frame DSLR Nikon D750 on October 9, 2025, in Churu, Rajasthan, India.
