Yesterday, I said I have two major things I like to do with my free time, of which I discussed one, being Photography. The other is one that goes deeper, literally! Up to about 40m under sea-level.

I'm talking about diving of course. Eversince I can remember I've loved water. It all started with learning to swim. I got so fanatic that at 7 years old, I swam for my 1500m certificate. and at 10, I had passed all my lifeguard tests (eventhough I could only apply to become a lifeguard at 16). Because there were no more challenges left I started inventing my own. Learning as much water sports as possible. I started with a diving initiation, later on surfing, waterskying, wakeboarding,... you name it, to than when I was old enough to start my journey as an adult diver.

Being about halfway now (Rescue Diver), I look back with loads of great memories and joy. I've gotten to know people I would've never met if it weren't for diving, in a way probably only few people know them.

The same goes for the wildlife, geographical and historical places I was able to visit. Wrecks and caves are the best examples of places that aren't accessible unless you're using scubatanks. Up to now (knock on wood) all accidents I witnessed ended well and none were in a group I was diving with. I hope we can keep it that way for the rest of my diving career.

Because the wildlife underwater is so magical, I've decided on this picture for today. I hope you enjoy it and can dream away by it.
