It is coming up on almost a year since we moved in, got our new panels (and battery) installed, so once that day crosses over, I am planning on doing an "Australian sun, summary" post, once I get the numbers together.

You guys get paid a lot more (satoshi for satoshi, shall we say) for exports than what I do on my current retailer. I get 0.02 AUD / kwH. If I export from my battery (which is governed by the power providers VPP, and not a choice for me, I get $1 / kwH.

That's not a great rate. I may be lucky with my provider, but they are really pushing people to get solar. It has to save on what needs investing in centralised generation.

Here it is constant complaints that the roof top solar is destablising the grid because it is increasing the voltage in peak production hours. :D
