Olá Hivers! Nós somos a Escola Caxiense de Danças, conhecida também como ESCADAS e esse é nosso post de apresentação a comunidade Hive!
Somos uma escola de dança situada no município de Duque de Caxias, RJ - Brasil e nesse post pretendemos contar um pouco da nossa historia, do que temos feitos nessa nova era pós pandemia e o porque estamos aqui na Hive.
Para começar vamos falar um pouco da nossa historia.
O que veio antes!
Nossa historia começa em 2009 quando o Sr João Batista, nosso fundador, decide homenagear seus pais que amavam dançar nos bailes de dança de salão transformando a casa em que cresceu em uma Escola de Dança, com a missão de promover saúde e bem estar através da dança e atividades culturais.
O Amplo espaço do quintal e garagem com pequenos ajustes se tornou um salão de dança e todo o verde no entorno do jardim da casa fez o ambiente extremamente agradável e familiar. Ao longo dos anos o espaço foi tomando forma, ganhando melhorias conforme o trabalho crescia e se mostrava cada vez mais solido, hoje é um equilíbrio perfeito entre um confortável salão de dança e um ambiente com ar familiar e agradável. Com um espelho que toda sala de dança gostaria de ter, um piso ideal para danças e uma área verde arborizada que mantem o ambiente refrescante mesmo nos piores dias de verão, um sistema de som completo e todo o espaço preparado para atender nosso publico.
Com o espaço pronto as aulas começaram e nossa grade de aulas ao passar dos anos teve de tudo um pouco relacionado a artes. Obviamente tivemos aulas de danças de vários tipos, dança de salão, dança do ventre, forró, samba, zouk, bolero entre outras modalidades de danças. Além disso tivemos música, defesa pessoal, cursos de capacitação e inúmeros eventos culturais como bailes de dança de salão, serestas e encontros musicais.
Por muitos anos nossa escola foi um dos locais de ensaio da velha guarda da escola de samba Grande Rio, já que o Sr João Batista faz parte da velha guarda e sempre participou dos ensaios, além disso tivemos grandes eventos recorrentes como o Baile do Tributo, que vamos mostrar algumas fotos a seguir.
Por hoje para nossa introdução a comunidade é apenas isso que vamos mostrar do que já rolou por aqui, mas acreditem, muita coisa aconteceu e em breve pretendemos trazer um pouco da nossa historia de forma mais detalhada, da trajetória do Sr João, da historia por trás do baile do tributo e dos espetáculos já produzidos pela escola ao longo dos anos!
O Agora
Devido a pandemia nossa escola ficou praticamente parada de 2020 até o final de 2022, mesmo depois de a vacina pronta e as atividades liberadas o cenário para as escolas de dança não estava bom e durante a pandemia perdemos nossa antiga gestora para o COVID-19 o que além de ter sido uma perda enorme dificultou ainda mais nosso retorno.
Foi então que em Agosto de 2022 foi contratada uma nova gestão, nossa gestão atual, para dirigir a Escola e decidimos fazer uma reinauguração. Pintamos a escola e fizemos alguns pequenos reparos que por menor que tenham sido deram nova vida a escola.
E também fizemos um baile de reinauguração onde nossa escola ficou tão cheia que foi difícil atender a todos os clientes naquela noite com o devido conforto que eles mereciam, mas demos o nosso melhor e o baile foi um sucesso. A partir desse baile começamos a fazer bailes mensais e atualmente temos 2 bailes todos os meses, o "Forró da Vila"(que é nosso baile mensal de forró) e o "Baile do Zodíaco" (que é o baile que comemora os aniversariantes do signo vigente, por exemplo o ultimo comemorou o aniversario dos Arianos)
Abaixo vamos deixar algumas fotos para vocês verem como costuma ser nossos bailinhos aqui na escola.
Além dos bailes montamos turmas regulares de segunda a quinta na parte da noite e aos sábados na parte da tarde. Também montamos nossa equipe de colaboradores que ajudam nas aulas e tem treinos especiais para evolução mais rápida e estarem apitos a nos ajudar em aula e nos bailes.
Além de tudo que temos feito para movimentar a escola e fazer ela funcionar, no mês de abril sediamos o primeiro "Encontro Cultural Hive" patrocinado pela Nexo Digital onde foi feito uma palestra ensinando e facilitando a entrada de novos Hivers no nosso querido mundo da Hive. Esse encontro foi o que nos incentivou a criar nossa conta e começar nossa jornada aqui na Hive. Daqui pra frente
Nossa escola acredita que para levar cultura ao nosso publico precisamos sempre inovar e buscar novas maneiras de nos comunicarmos e ultrapassar barreiras, sejam elas, econômicas, culturais, sociais ou puramente psicológicas. E para alcançar esse objetivo o desafio é grande e tentamos sempre ser pioneiros, criativos e acessíveis.
Observem que eu falei de alcançar o nosso publico e não necessariamente nossos clientes. Embora sejamos um negocio e precisamos de clientes para manter as portas abertas nosso objetivo vai muito mais além! Queremos que conteúdos culturais cheguem para quem não tem acesso, seja por falta de espaços culturais onde moram, seja por falta de conhecimento de onde buscar ou qualquer outro motivo. E é por esses motivos que estamos aqui!
Ser acessível para nós significa ocupar o máximo de espaços que pudermos, seja ele presencial, online, na web2,web3 e se vier uma web10 pretendemos estar lá também!
Ser criativo é descobrir novas formas de tocar corações através da arte e de nossos conteúdos para que o mundo ganhe novos artistas, sejam dançarinos ou de qualquer outro tipo e independente se algum dia virão a ser nossos alunos ou não. Se em algum lugar do mundo alguém decidir se dedicar a dança por conta dos nossos conteúdos já temos uma vitória para cultura independente de termos ganho ou não um cliente!
Ser pioneiro é estar a frente do mercado, fazer mais do que já é feito, se arriscar no desconhecido para facilitar o caminho de quem vem atrás!
Pensando nesses 3 pilares (acessibilidade, criatividade e pioneirismo) decidimos fazer parte da Hive e ter mais uma forma de mostrar nosso conteúdo e com isso também iniciamos uma nova forma de pagamento em nossa escola! A partir do mês de Abril começamos a aceitar HIVE,HBD e NEXO como forma de pagamento de nossas mensalidades e em breve aceitaremos também nos bailes.
Até onde sabemos somos a primeira escola de dança no Rio de Janeiro a aceitar criptomoeda como forma de pagamento, acreditamos ser o primeiro estabelecimento comercial em Duque de Caxias a aceitar criptomoedas e certamente somos os primeiros a aceitar Hive.
Ainda não sabemos como isso vai impactar nossas contas e certamente sabemos que não serão muitos dos nossos clientes interessados em pagar em criptomoedas, porem esse passo é um incentivo aos nossos alunos a conhecerem esse mundo que acreditamos inevitavelmente ser o futuro. E de qualquer forma, é melhor estar preparado para receber e não termos procura, do que termos procura e não termos como atender o nosso cliente.
Além das novidades da nossa entrada para Hive e aceitação de criptomoedas vamos continuar o foco em manter nossas turmas e eventos cheios e voltar a fazer workshops e oficinas trazendo ainda mais atividades culturais para Duque de Caxias. Temos mais novidades que ainda não estão prontas para ser reveladas mas em breve traremos pra vocês.

Hello Hivers! We are Escola Caxiense de Danças, also known as ESCADAS and this is our presentation post to the Hive community!
We are a dance school located in the municipality of Duque de Caxias, RJ - Brazil and in this post we intend to tell a little about our history, what we have been doing in this new post-pandemic era and why we are here at Hive.
To begin with, let's talk a little about our history.
What came before!
Our story begins in 2009 when Mr João Batista, our founder, decided to pay homage to his parents who loved to dance at ballroom dances, transforming the house where he grew up into a Dance School, with the mission of promoting health and well-being be through dance and cultural activities.
The large space of the backyard and garage with minor adjustments became a dance hall and all the green surrounding the garden of the house made the environment extremely pleasant and familiar. Over the years the space has taken shape, gaining improvements as the work has grown and shown itself to be more and more solid, today it is a perfect balance between a comfortable dance hall and an environment with a familiar and pleasant atmosphere. With a mirror that every dance room would like to have, an ideal floor for dancing and a green area with trees that keep the environment refreshing even on the worst summer days, a complete sound system and the entire space prepared to serve our audience.
With the space ready, classes began and our schedule of classes over the years had a little bit of everything related to the arts. Obviously we had dance classes of various types, ballroom dancing, belly dancing, forró, samba, zouk, bolero among other dance modalities. In addition, we had music, self-defense, training courses and countless cultural events such as ballroom dances, serenades and musical meetings.
For many years our school was one of the rehearsal places for the old guard of the Grande Rio samba school, as Mr João Batista is part of the old guard and always participated in the rehearsals, in addition we had great recurring events such as the Baile do Tributo, which we'll show some pictures of below.
For today, for our introduction to the community, that's all we're going to show about what's happened here, but believe me, a lot has happened and soon we intend to bring a little of our history in more detail, the trajectory of Mr João, the story behind the Baile do Tributo and the shows already produced by the school over the years!
The Now
Due to the pandemic, our school was practically stopped from 2020 until the end of 2022, even after the vaccine was ready and the activities released, the scenario for the dance schools was not good and during the pandemic we lost our former manager to COVID -19 which, in addition to being a huge loss, made our return even more difficult.
It was then that in August 2022 a new management, our current management, was hired to run the School and we decided to reopen it. We painted the school and made some small repairs that, however small they were, gave new life to the school.
And we also had a housewarming ball where our school was so full that it was difficult to serve all the customers that night with the proper comfort they deserved, but we did our best and the ball was a success. From that dance we started to do monthly dances and currently we have 2 dances every month, the "Forró da Vila" (which is our monthly forró dance) and the "Baile do Zodíaco" (which is the dance that celebrates the birthdays of the current sign, for example the last one celebrated the birthday of the Aryans)
Below we will leave some photos for you to see how our dances are usually here at school.
In addition to the dances, we set up regular classes from Monday to Thursday in the evening and on Saturdays in the afternoon. We also set up our team of collaborators who help in classes and have special training for faster evolution and are ready to help us in class and at dances.
In addition to everything we have been doing to move the school forward and make it work, in April we hosted the first "Hive Cultural Meeting" sponsored by Nexo Digital where a lecture was given teaching and facilitating the entry of new Hivers in our dear world of Hive. This encounter is what prompted us to create our account and begin our journey here at Hive. This encounter brings us to our next topic...
From now on
Our school believes that in order to bring culture to our audience, we must always innovate and seek new ways to communicate and overcome barriers, whether economic, cultural, social or purely psychological. And to achieve this goal the challenge is great and we always try to be pioneering, creative and accessible.
Notice that I talked about reaching our audience and not necessarily our customers. Although we are a business and we need customers to keep our doors open, our goal goes much further! We want cultural content to reach those who do not have access, either because of the lack of cultural spaces where they live, or because of lack of knowledge of where to look for it or any other reason. And that's why we're here!
Being accessible for us means occupying as many spaces as possible, be it face-to-face, online, on web2, web3 and if there is a web10 we intend to be there too!
Being creative is discovering new ways to touch hearts through art and our content so that the world gains new artists, whether dancers or any other type and regardless of whether they will ever become our students or not. If, somewhere in the world, someone decides to dedicate themselves to dance because of our content, we already have a victory for culture, regardless of whether or not we have won a customer!
Being a pioneer is being ahead of the market, doing more than is already done, taking risks in the unknown to facilitate the path of those who come behind!
Thinking about these 3 pillars (accessibility, creativity and pioneering spirit) we decided to be part of Hive and have one more way to show our content and with that we also started a new payment method at our school! From the month of April we started accepting HIVE, HBD and NEXO as a payment method for our monthly fees and soon we will also accept it at dances.
As far as we know, we are the first dance school in Rio de Janeiro to accept cryptocurrency as a payment method, we believe we are the first commercial establishment in Duque de Caxias to accept cryptocurrencies and we are certainly the first to accept Hive.
We still don't know how this will impact our accounts and we certainly know that not many of our customers will be interested in paying in cryptocurrencies, but this step is an incentive for our students to get to know this world that we believe is inevitably the future. And anyway, it's better to be prepared to receive and not have demand than to have demand and not be able to serve our customer.
In addition to the news of our entry to Hive and acceptance of cryptocurrencies, we will continue to focus on keeping our classes and events full and return to doing workshops and workshops, bringing even more cultural activities to Duque de Caxias. We have more news that is not yet ready to be revealed but we will bring it to you soon.

Hello @machiatta the account will be used to post some content like dance and school events. But the main reason we are at Hive is because, as we have partnered with the Nexo Digital project for onboarding cultural meetings to take place here, we decided to start accepting Hive, HBD and $NEXO token.
As it would be necessary to have a Hive account for this, we thought it was a waste not to take the opportunity to show a little of everything that happens around here in publications.
The account will not be controlled by a single person, but me Filipe (@lipe100dedos) and Tamara (@splinter100dedos) will do the transactions, monthly receipts in Hive for example.
We also have other people on the team who help create photos and videos of the events and sometimes help with the development of the content (as they used to do for our other social networks).
All content is finalized and proofread by me or Tamara to avoid low quality content.

Olá @crazyphantombr, na verdade pelo que pude ver tem 4 comunidades na Hive onde você pode postar conteudos de dança, Nexo Digital, Bee on the stage, Dance and Music.
Até tem outras, mas aparentemente não estão sendo usadas ou talvez tenha alguma que eu não tenha achado e se tiver por favor me avise :)
No nosso caso, não temos a pretensão de criar comunidade de dança, apenas o perfil da nossa escola para recebermos os pagamentos em Hive, HBD e NEXO e compartilhar na rede um pouco do que acontece na escola.
Mas você tem razão, não é coincidência logo após a chegada de uma comunidade criada por brasileiros nós termos chegado aqui. Viemos através do projeto Nexo Digital e esperamos que muitas outras pessoas dançantes criem suas contas e encham a Hive de dança.
