Hattrick is a text-based football simulator that has existed since the dawn of the internet. It's a descendant of similar games from the microcomputer era, such as Elifoot and Football Manager. I've had a team there since 2004, and the goal described in the match Uchinanchus F.C. 3 x 0 Atletico Grein served as inspiration for today's artwork for the Challenge: Drawing (almost) every day on iPad.
Here's the narration on Hatrick: Corner kick at 23 minutes: Maung Tin crossed the ball into the goalkeeper's hands, who tried to catch it, but the ball slipped and escaped uncontrollably. It was the chance that 憲 (Ken) 門脇 (Kadowaki) needed to score. With a punch in the air, he kissed the Uchinanchus emblem and ran to celebrate. 1-0.
For those who remember, I had already started on this topic months ago in the post Remembering Gepp & Maia drawing soccer goals, mentioning the master caricaturists in reproducing goals and match highlights published in newspapers. Another tribute is the team's name, which uses a term designating those born in Okinawa, the land of my grandparents, inspiration for previous posts like Okinawan Proverb and Ashimiji Bushi (汗水節) - Song of Sweating Like Fountains.
I don't play soccer, as I already posted at the beginning of this challenge - Training basketball on the weekend - and in that idea of Sorobasket, portable soroban for recording basketball statistics, the sport I practice is another one. I've always been very bad with the ball at my feet, but I've always liked simulators, even when computers didn't exist: Button (or Table) Football Championship. This season my team is doing well in the Hattrick, who knows, maybe more goals will come up that deserve to be drawn.

O Hattrick é um simulador de futebol em modo texto que existe desde o começo da internet. Herdeiro de games parecidos da época dos microcomputadores, como o Elifoot e Football Manager. Pra quem se lembra, já tinha iniciado neste tema meses atrás no post Lembrando Gepp & Maia desenhando gols no futebol, mencionando os caricaturistas mestres na reprodução de gols e jogadas de craques publicadas nos jornais. Outra homenagem é o nome do time, que usa um termo que designa os nascidos em Okinawa, terra dos meus avós, inspiração dos posts Provérbio okinawano e Ashimiji Bushi (汗水節) - Canção suando em bicas.
Não jogo futebol, como já postei no começo deste desafio - Treinando basquete no fim de semana - e naquela ideia do Sorobasket, soroban portátil para anotar estatísticas no basquete, o esporte que pratico é outro. Sempre fui muito ruim com a bola nos pés, mas sempre gostei dos simuladores, mesmo quando não existiam computadores: Campeonato de futebol de botão da Estrela. Nesta temporada meu time está bem na tabela no Hattrick, quem sabe surjam mais lances que mereçam se desenhados.
