One of the technologies I started following this year was Vibe Coding, which supposedly allows you to program and develop software simply by talking to an artificial intelligence. I'm noting down the interesting things I found about the subject on a page Vibe Coding on Cérebro Aberto (in Portuguese), including arguments that aren't as enthusiastic as the article in the Gen-AI newsletter with Billy Garcia on LinkedIn: Vibe Coding isn't all that (in Portuguese too).
Since I'm neither a developer nor a programmer, when the term first appeared it didn't appeal to me much, but because this year is the year of the Chinese zodiac sign of the snake, the same sign as me, I decided to start experimenting. According to Okinawan belief, which I discussed in the previous post Superstition and camphorated alcohol at great-grandmother's house, and perhaps throughout all Asia, the year ruled by your Chinese zodiac sign is auspicious for starting new things because everything sown at this time will bear fruit for the next 12 years.
The first test was on the Base 44 platform with the app Matrix Shot, where I explained that I wanted an app to create videos in the style of the Matrix movie using photos collaboratively (each participating cell phone captures a frame from nearby but different positions). But I interrupted it temporarily due to difficult in testing it as 3 or more smartphones are required.
The second test was on the Ohara AI platform, already in web3 on Base Chain, including access to a wallet and smart contracts. On it, I tried creating the app There is mulberry in SP - Collaborative map of fruit trees as a basis for events and community work but I couldn't deploy the first version. Incidentally, the same theme inspired the artwork There are mulberry trees in São Paulo that I made here for the Challenge: Drawing (almost) every day on the iPad.
Returning to Billy Garcia's article cited at the beginning of the post, the arguments are the result of an online event about vibe coding, recorded on video with pecha-kucha presentations, a popular practice in the early days of web2, from the same era as the Barcamp - Unconferences. And as the Year of the Snake is coming to an end, I'll try to watch the tips and resume learning, perhaps even involving my projects on Hive, like this frequent drawing challenge.

Estou anotando as coisas interessantes em uma pg Vibe Coding no Cérebro Aberto, inclusive com argumentos não tão empolgados como o artigo na newsletter Gen-AI com Billy Garcia no LinkedIn: Vibe Coding não é essa vibe toda.
Como não sou dev nem programador, quando o termo surgiu não me atraiu tanto, mas por este ano ser o do signo chinês da serpente, mesmo signo que eu, resolvi começar a experimentar. Segundo a crença okinawana, que comentei no post anterior Simpatia e álcool canforado na casa da bisavó, e talvez de todo o oriente, no ano que seu signo chinês rege é propício começar coisas novas pois tudo que se semeia nesta época vai frutificar pelos próximos 12 anos.
O primeiro teste foi na plataforma Base 44 com o app Matrix Shot, onde expliquei que queria um app para criar videos no estilo do filme Matrix usando fotos de forma colaborativa (cada celular participante captura um frame de posições próximas mas diferentes). Deixei o app temporariamente de lado pela dificuldade de testar, afinal precisaria de no mínimo 3 celulares pra funcionar.
O segundo foi na plataforma Ohara AI, já em web3 na Base Chain incluindo acesso a carteira e contratos inteligentes. Nela experimentei criar o app Existe amora em SP - Mapa colaborativo de amoreiras como base para eventos e mutirões mas não consegui fazer o deploy da primeira versão. Aliás, o mesmo tema inspirou a arte Existe amora em SP que fiz aqui pro Desafio: Desenhando (quase) todo dia no iPad.
Voltando ao artigo do Billy Garcia citado no início do post, os argumentos são resultado de um evento online sobre vibe coding, gravado em video com apresentações pecha-kucha, prática popular nos primórdios da web2, da mesma época das Barcamp - Desconferências. E como o ano da cobra está chegando ao fim, vou tentar assistir as dicas e retomar o aprendizado, quem sabe envolvendo até meus projetos na Hive, como este desafio de desenhos frequentes.
