I am so excited to share with you my new business venture which currently in progress, will be named Patak Patak, which is a crowdfunding website that is going to be based in Borneo Malaysia.
A home-grown Borneo based crowdfunding website aimed to help Borneoan (particularly Sabahan)
What is Patak Patak?
To start of, patak-patak is basically a slang derived from Sabahan incorporated in daily conversation which stands the meaning of sharing.
Example : "Jom, patak-patak beli kek untuk ibu".
Translate : Come, let's share money to buy mom's cake".
Sabahan used this word not only verbally but in messages to.
What is our objective?
We aimed at helping people to collect funding based on crowdfunding method.
Patak Patak will simply post a project, dateline and goals needed to achieve.
We are going to utilize the power of community to help those in need. All we need to do is prepare that simplified platform so that backers can easily channel funding to the needy.
What projects are we talking about?
At the moment, Patak Patak is aimed at projects for charity, SME, technology and a few others more.
When will the main website going live?
At the moment, we are currently at beta testing phase. Here, we want to make sure all features and functions runs smoothly before going live.

When is the first project launced?
We are really working hard to ensure all features works accordingly.
Another beta UI for testing purpose.
Hence, the timeline for our very first funding will be in early May 2021 aimed at charity funding.
Any blockchain related to this project?
Nope. Not yet at the moment.
But I am a huge blockchain enthusiast and I envision to incorporate blockchain into Patak Patak.
Last but not least, Patak Patak will be the backbone of crowdfunding based in Borneo. We have a big heart to help those in need especially during this difficult time.
The crowdfunding platform is a good idea and it can certainly be a great help to many this tough time. Is this going to bring something different for Leo and Hive ecosystem or in general for all?

At the moment, there are not going to be any crypto related in this project, yet. But, at long term goal definitely would be accepting Hive/Leo and any other crypto as a mode of crowdfunding.
Another side project I keen to work on is Hive crowdfund, something like fundition, but this will have to wait 😎

Congratulations on the project, I hope it is a success. It would be interesting to mix traditional crowdfunding with networks like Hive.

I prefer to run seperate projects between traditional crowdfund and decentralized crowdfunding.
Reason being is that the different sets of target market between both kind of crowdfunding.
