Dear Hive

On the 2nd of November 2021 we started a Community on hive called Hive Rocks.

I could not get around doing a Log for both December and January, but here is our début for a monthly log this February.

In our previous post titled Hive Rocks, we explained the details on what Hive rocks is.

@alchemystones, was elected as president of the Hive Rocks community on the 14th of November 2021 for exceptional efforts in not only supporting our community and being a passionate rock painter but for openly being a humble and honest being with an illustrious moral character. @alchemystones went on to create amazing tutorials on guiding any rock painter through an efficient process.

Here are the tutorials:

For going to the length of creating a total of 5 tutorials we'd like to express our most profound gratitude in the name of our young and growing community.

He also created a really awesome tutorial on how to find paintable rocks. Check out his post for valuable tips and tricks on beach trips.

In January I created a Badge and awarded @alchemystones for being such an amazing president and @brittandjosie for her exceptional post Hive Rocks #hiverocks community JOIN NOW! with our newly created Hive Rocks Badge:

You can also earn the Hive Rocks Badge

We’d like to give anyone a warm welcome to subscribe to the Hive Rocks Community. Feel free to follow us and delegate to our Hive Rocks Account : .

We are currently still in the process of figuring out a way to curate and welcome anyone who would like to join as moderators, engage and participate as we are an open group on the blockchain and our doors are open for anyone enthusiastic about this vision of creating and sharing rock collectibles.

We aspire to create an open and transparent fund from delegations and other donations, rewards from logs such as this and other posts.

Moderators and Admins can always reach out to me on discord yangyanje (aka shinobi)#0298 or @yangyanje on telegram.

Honorable Mentions

The Hive Rocks community was founded on the 2nd by enthusiasts such as @qwerrie, @brittandjosie who also represents @ladiesofhive(a praiseworthy initiative), @nathanmars, @phoenixwren, @jurich60 and our knightly @alchemystones.

Thank you all very much for holding on and being my beacon of light.

btw. You are all eligible to have me send you some stickers as well.

Participation

Here on Hive Rocks the artists and retrievers of such rocks can earn rewards from people who find them and post them on our Blockchain. This encourages a treasure hunt where anyone can leave longitudes and latitudes as coordinates or just add their hive username on the back of painted rocks for others to find. This consecrates Hive Rocks from other regular painted Rocks. If a rock painter finds such a hive rock although, they are also encouraged to give up to 80% to the artist, adding the username as beneficiary rewards while creating a post in the advance section prior to publishing.

This invigorates amity, respect, benevolence and mindfulness.

One could possibly expand the idea to create redeemable NFT's for Rocks that become gems of art that could be acquired in auctions on NFT market places on Hive.

Join our epic Hive Rocks journey and subscribe.

Our next log is to be scheduled around the time of the march full moon and we are looking forward to your thoughts and suggestions in the comments.

Rules

  1. On Hive Rocks, we add our hive username on the back of the rock and a link to Hive Rocks or peakd.com/c/hive-127783/created on peakd or ecency.com/created/hive-127783 . Note this is entirely optional. We also add the user name. For example @username . One should make sure a retriever might find your account, so it is also wise to add peakd.com/@username or ecency.com/@username in clear and readable letters.

  2. On Hive Rocks we share a minimum of 50% beneficiary rewards with the artist who painted the rock. Finders must click on advanced before publishing their posts and add beneficiaries, where they type in the @username of the artist found on the back of the rock. We advise that it would only be fair to give an artist even up to 80% beneficiary rewards to show kindness and appreciation. After all you found a great piece of art to decorate your home.

Once more as a List

Add to the back of the rock:

  • Hive username or written link with username
  • Link to Hive Rocks Community (optional)
  • Artist Name / Hive Username
  • Postal Code (optional)

We are looking forward to seeing beautifully painted art on rocks, curating them and a community of engaged artists and rock hunters retrieving and documenting this amazing movement.
