La naturaleza es simplemente hermosa en las diferentes formas en que se nos presenta y esta vez, nos sorprendió en el ambulatorio donde estoy prestando mis servicios. A la entrada, lo primero que perciben nuestros ojos es la belleza de la mezcla de colores verde-grisáceos y flores lilas de la planta del Cenizo, conocida científicamente como, Leucophyllum frutescens.
Nature is simply beautiful in the different ways it presents itself to us and this time, it surprised us in the ambulatory where I am providing my services. At the entrance, the first thing our eyes perceive is the beauty of the mix of green-grayish colors and lilac flowers of the Cenizo plant, scientifically known as Leucophyllum frutescens.
Es un arbusto que pertenece a la familia Scrophulariaceae, que crece hasta 2.5 metros de altura, ramificado y de hojas grises, las flores crecen como campana con un tamaño de 25 mm, de color lila y por lo general florece tres veces al año.

Además, para el año 2015, se determinó, que los fenoles obtenidos extracto metabólico de la planta, contribuyen a una actividad antioxidante.

Este arbusto nos cautivó desde el primer momento, además nos llamó la atención que en los últimos días nuestra ciudad ha mantenido un clima soleado y a pesar de ello, el arbusto estaba en todo su esplendor, no parecía que el sol le afectara, y la verdad es que durante todo el año esta planta necesita tener una exposición a pleno sol, lo que hace necesario que su cultivo sea en lugares donde estén expuestos muchas horas a este.
This shrub captivated us from the first moment, it also caught our attention that in recent days our city has maintained a sunny climate and despite this, the bush was in all its splendor, it did not seem that the sun affected him, and the truth is that throughout the year this plant needs to have an exposure to full sun, which makes it necessary that its cultivation is in places where they are exposed to many hours to this.
