Wild Hyllus Jumper (Hyllus diardi)

Perhaps spider lovers are familiar with this jumper. Many of them adopt this species of spider as pets.

Hyllus diardi is a jumping spider belonging to the genus Hyllus. Some pet shops sell this species.

The spider is larger than most jumping spiders and has a cute face, like a stuffed animal. So it's natural that this jumper is loved as a pet.

I think I was lucky to find this wild Hyllus female in my yard, so I didn't have to spend some money to buy her at the pet shop. But it never occurred to me to adopt her as a pet. Let this little girl live freely in nature.
