Desde muy pequeña he sido amante de la naturaleza, de las cosas simples y lo hermoso que hay a nuestro alrededor, cosa que trato de transmitirle a mi hija, mirando el atardecer diariamente y ver como se presentan nubes de todos los colores.
Pero esta vez vengo con un árbol que me enamora, como algunos saben nací en la región andina de Venezuela pero a los 16 años me mude a centro occidente al estado Yaracuy, las cosas que tienen en común la ciudad en la que nací y esta ciudad del centro del país es que ambas son muy verdes y eso me encanta.

Since I was a little girl I have been a lover of nature, of simple things and the beauty around us, which I try to transmit to my daughter, watching the sunset daily and seeing how clouds of all colors appear.
But this time I come with a tree that makes me fall in love, as some know I was born in the Andean region of Venezuela but at 16 I moved to the center-west to the state of Yaracuy, the things that the city where I was born and this city in the center of the country have in common is that both are very green and I love that.
Sin embargo, la naturaleza en ambas ciudades pues es muy diferente por su clima tan contrastante uno del otro, acá es calor todo el tiempo y los Andes pues son fríos y templados, aunque con el cambio climático eso ha variado mucho. Así que aquí en San Felipe mi ciudad de residencia desde hace ya 20 años pues en Abril y Marzo empieza la floración de los Apamates y el Araguaney.
Está semana salí un par de veces al centro de la ciudad cosa que no hacia hace un tiempo por el tema de la gasolina, y me deleite de ver como están florecidos mis amados arboles de Apamate.
However, the nature in both cities is very different because of their contrasting climate, here it's hot all the time and the Andes are cold and temperate, although with climate change that has changed a lot. So here in San Felipe, my hometown for 20 years now, in April and March the Apamates and Araguaney begin to flower.
This week I went out a couple of times to the center of the city, something I hadn't done for a while due to the gasoline issue, and I was delighted to see how my beloved Apamate trees are in bloom.
Están por todos lados, y encuentras muchos juntos, leí en internet que es porque su semilla se esparce fácilmente incluso puede viajar hasta un kilometro, eso explica muy bien porque hay tantos, en todas partes.
They are everywhere, and you find many together, I read on the internet that it is because their seed spreads easily and can even travel up to a kilometre, that explains very well why there are so many, everywhere.

Tal vez mis fotos no son las mejores tomas, pero acá en Venezuela estar con el celular en la vía publica es muy riesgoso, así que las tome mientras el carro andaba, algo alocado esto, pero era la única manera de registrar para ustedes, este majestuoso evento que vivimos todos los habitantes del Estado Yaracuy en este momento.
Maybe my photos are not the best shots, but here in Venezuela to be with your cell phone on the public road is very risky, so I took them while the car was moving, something crazy this, but it was the only way to record for you, this majestic event that all the inhabitants of the State of Yaracuy are living at this moment.
Estos arboles pasan la mayor parte del año vestidos de verde, por lo que pasan realmente desapercibidos, los vemos pero quienes como yo no sabemos mucho de botánica pues no los identificamos bien, a menos que llegue su floración.
These trees spend most of the year dressed in green, so they go really unnoticed, we see them but those like me do not know much about botany because we do not identify them well, unless their flowering comes.
En este proceso, se desprenden de todas sus hojas verdes, y solo quedan su hermosa flor que este caso es color lila, pero también los hay blancos, hay un par de estos blancos por aquí mismo pero los que más abundan son los lilas.
In this process, they shed all their green leaves, and only their beautiful flower remains, which in this case is lilac, but there are also white ones, there are a couple of these whites right here but the ones that are most abundant are the lilacs.
Todos los lugares que he mostrado en las fotos, están lejos unos de otros, algunos en el sur de la ciudad otros al norte y a los alrededores, y aunque esta ciudad no es muy grande el viento ha ejercido su poder para llevar a todos los rincones este pedacito de paz visual para todos los yaracuyanos.
All the places that I have shown in the photos, are far from each other, some in the south of the city others to the north and surroundings, and although this city is not very big the wind has exercised its power to take to all the corners this little piece of visual peace for all the yaracuyans.
Cierro con broche de oro en la catedral de San Felipe, acá me arriesgue y casi pierdo el celular, por desafiar a la inseguridad, pero Dios siempre esta conmigo, así que espero que este post les sea de su agrado y que disfruten estas imágenes tanto como lo he disfrutado yo.
I close with a flourish in the cathedral of San Felipe, here I took a risk and almost lost my cell phone, for defying insecurity, but God is always with me, so I hope this post is to your liking and that you enjoy these images as much as I have.

me alegra que hayan mas personas que disfruten de admirar los arboles que encuentran a su paso. ciertamente es algo inexplicable, llena el alma de una sensacion de paz y armonia que me encanta. como un dato curioso tengo entendido que el apamate es como un primo del araguaney, que por cierto tambien es muy hermoso.
