In this post, I took several photos of buffalo egrets in the rice fields of Aceh during the harvest period. I took all these photos using a personal camera.

From some of the references that I read, I am also interested in telling a few things about this bird species.
Buffalo egrets belong to the order Ciconiiformes. The birds in this order are relatively large, have long legs and beaks, and have a slow wing beat.
Ciconiiformes cannot use their feet to run fast, their gait tends to be slow but regular. However, when I took it, it was very difficult to take it up close, 20 meters I approached, the bird immediately flew away.

This white bird lives in various parts of the world. The poultry scientifically named Bubulcus ibis lives in Africa, America, Asia and Australia.

Birds are the only feathered and vertebrate animals other than bats, which have strong wings and ability to fly (Birdlife International, 2011). Of the various species, waterbirds are a type whose entire life is related to water areas or wetlands.
This buffalo egret or Bubulcus ibis measures about 50 centimeters in size. During the non-breeding season, the plumage of the bird is white with a wash of orange on the forehead.
