How can the same sky bring us so much splendor? How can the same place bring us so much calm? I can find no other explanation for so many feelings that it is God and no one else, the only one capable of creating so much beauty.
I have loved nature since I was a child, surrounded by it I grew up and as I grew up I did not understand why man in his desire to be greater destroys so much beauty. Luckily these channels that flow between the city of Higuerote and Rio Chico in the state of Miranda are still intact and bring a lot of life to their surroundings.
I remember when I was a child and my aunt had a house in front of the canals of Rio chico, my cousins and I wanted to eat mangoes and there was a loaded bush on the other side of the bank, we didn't get on a boat and went on a mango hunt, When we got there the mangoes were a little high and one of my cousins jumped so hard that when he stepped back into the boat he turned around with everyone included, thank God I could swim, but my biggest scare was the drool, some animals that look like alligators but a little smaller, I remember as if it were yesterday, I was afraid that they would come and eat me like in the movies.
Luckily my cousin Carlos quickly turned the boat around and we all got back in and left all wet and without any handles for the house again.
Those adventures are unique and we only live them once, these days that we have the mango season I have been remembering all those moments and just by looking at these pictures I can be transported in time.
I want to thank you @Adalger for always organizing Amazing Nature Contest - June 2020 - # 04 I really like to participate and I already want to go out again and visit these sites and bring you many more pictures of beautiful places in my beautiful country Venezuela.
