Uno de los lugares más misteriosos y asombrosos de nuestro planeta es el mar. Desde sus costas, su maravilloso ecosistema hasta sus grandes profundidades siempre ha despertado en el hombre curiosidad, fantasías, placeres, temores y retos.
Muy temprano en la historia de la humanidad el hombre se las ingenio para moverse a través de él, ha sido fuente de alimento, ha despertado la imaginación creando seres fantásticos, ciudades perdidas e inspirado hermosos poemas y narraciones. No se puede dejar de lado la actividad científica, el estudio para su comprensión y todo lo que representa para el equilibrio del planeta. El mar con su inmensidad, belleza y aportes creo que nunca dejará de despertar nuestra capacidad de asombro, por ello hoy le rindo mis honores y agradecimiento.
¿Qué me gusta y asombra del mar?
ChoroníSiempre me ha gustado el mar, es uno de mis lugares favoritos y si me ponen a escoger lo prefiero a cualquier otro paseo, a orillas del mar he contemplado amaneceres y atardeceres luminosos y brillantes, con tonalidades que me conectan con momentos de gran intensidad. Sus dorados, azules o grises; los reflejos y sombras que te llevan a sentir texturas; el sonido rítmico de sus aguas; la brisa suave que lo acompaña; el horizonte incansable y su peculiar aroma; todo el contexto crea la magia donde, si te dejas llevar y abres tu sentir, llega la quietud y plenitud dos sensaciones que te hacen sentir que eres parte del alucinante y maravilloso universo.
ChoroníMe gustan sus aguas tibias y cristalinas, la arena suave y caliente bajo mis pies, su paleta de colores cambiantes y los contrastes que lo visten, la fusión de tierra y mar y ese mundo de vida que esconde de los curiosos ojos humanos. El mar suave que me recibe y me deja flotar en él, el sol que me calienta y el mar que me refresca. Compartir con los que amas, dejando huellas en la arena, huellas que el mar se lleva pero que en mi alma quedan.
La Ciénega
CataMe gusta la gente del mar aventurero, arriesgado y mañero que con su trabajo va aliviando al viajero, está el que calma la sed montado en un cocotero y aquel que saca sonrisas con sus equipos playeros.
Choroní
Me gusta su flora que semejan debilidad y resulta que son fuertes hasta en la mayor tempestad: cocoteros, manglares, uva de playa y almendrón son algunos de los que crecen a su alrededor.
Sus animales ariscos como el cangrejo ladrón que esconde sus paticas cuando escucha al invasor o el cangrejo pedrero que entre piedras y ramitas disimula su existir y qué decir de las aves que adornar su superficie buscando su alimento entre las olas del mar.
Mi mar bello y hermoso ¿A quién no le podrás gustar? Si eres fuente de vida, salud y tranquilidad.
Isla de MargaritaEl mar es uno de los grandes entes vivos de nuestro planeta que más ha sufrido la acción del hombre. En los últimos dos siglos hemos contaminado sus aguas poniendo en riesgo su existencia, lo hemos visto como un recurso que nos ha sido otorgado y no como la fuente de vida que es, por lo que es conveniente que seamos parte de los millones de personas que trabajan para concientizar sobre la responsabilidad que tenemos en cuidarlo y protegerlo.
Esta es mi participación al concurso semanal convocado por #amazingnature de la comunidad de la naturaleza asombrosa. Una valiosa iniciativa para apreciar en su magnitud la belleza de la naturaleza.

Its golds, blues or grays; the reflections and shadows that lead you to feel textures; the rhythmic sound of its waters; the gentle breeze that accompanies it; the tireless horizon and its peculiar aroma; the whole context creates the magic where, if you let yourself go and open your feelings, stillness and fullness arrive, two sensations that make you feel that you are part of the amazing and wonderful universe.
