Hola amigos de hive, feliz día, como siempre y de todo corazón espero que todos se encuentren bien, hace unos meses me inicié en el mundo de la lombricultura, si eres lector casual de mi contenido habrás notado que una de mis pasiones más grandes es la jardinería, estuve meses leyendo sobre los beneficios de las lombrices para nutrir y oxigenar suelos y al final me decidí a invertir un poco y comprar 50 lombrices rojas californianas, sé que es una cantidad algo pequeña para empezar, pero al ser un novato en el tema quise hacerlo de la manera más económica posible.

El ambiente donde criarlas, de manera general debemos mantener una humedad entre el 70% a 80% para que las lombrices trabajen y se reproduzcan de manera eficiente, un indicio de que la humedad está muy alta es que la tierra comienza a oler a agua de cloaca, esto hará que las lombrices mueran, si la humedad baja de manera drástica las lombrices trabajarán muy poco y entraran en una especie de "hibernación", se enrollarán sobre sí mismas y no trabajaran.

Recipiente donde almacenarlas, las dimensiones donde criar nuestras lombrices no deben tener dimensiones especificas ni una forma en concreto, de hecho podemos usar bidones, tambores, recipientes y si tienes un pequeño espacio de tierra es mejor tenerlas al aire libre, son mucho más eficientes bajo esas condiciones, la verdad la lombricultura es un pasatiempo increíble que si usamos de manera correcta hasta podría ser una fuente de ingresos a la larga.
