| У меня есть давняя коллекция кактусов и суккулентов. Когда-то в начале 2000х мы с братом с большим энтузиазмом взялись за это дело, выращивали из семян, покупали всякие редкости. Но, к сожалению, подоконники в панельном доме в Подмосковье не лучшее место для такого рода растений. Многие из них довольно капризны к условиям, требуют очень много солнца. Поэтому коллекция постепенно уменьшалась, мы к ней несколько остыли. В обшем, выжили сильнейшие. | I have a longstanding collection of cacti and succulents. Sometime in the early 2000s, my brother and I took up this business with great enthusiasm, grew from seeds, bought all sorts of rarities. But, unfortunately, window sills in a panel house in the Moscow region are not the best place for this kind of plants. Many of them are quite capricious to the conditions, they require a lot of sun. Therefore, the collection was gradually decreasing, we cooled down a little towards it. In general, the strongest survived. |
| Но в фотоархиве остались яркие моменты цветения наших растений. Для конкурса я сделала подборку разнообразных цветов. | But the photo archive contains bright moments of the flowering of our plants. For the competition, I made a selection of various flowers. |

| Алая и белая, но не розы. Белым цветёт стромбокактус (strombocactus disciformis), а алым – ребуция (rebutia krainziana) | Scarlet and white, but not roses. Strombocactus disciformis blooms white, and rebutia krainziana blooms scarlet |
| Очень люблю астрофитумы (astrophytum). У них и без цветов очень интересный вид: кругленькие, налитые, в крапинку. И уж особенно радует этот астрофитум астериас (astrophytum asterias), когда цветёт. | I love astrophytums very much. They have a very interesting look even without flowers: round, plump, speckled. And this astrophytum asterias especially pleases when it blooms. |
| А вот удивительный цветок эхинопсиса (echinopsis). Цветёт он, к сожалению, недолго – только 1 сутки. Но размер, особенно по отношению к самому кактусу, а также восхитительный аромат – делают его одним из самых любимых цветов. | And here is the amazing echinopsis flower. Unfortunately, it does not bloom for long - only 1 day. But the size, especially in relation to the cactus itself, as well as the delicious aroma make it one of the most beloved flowers. |
| Неогомессия (neogomessia agavoides) – из редкостей. Мы её купили уже взрослой. Живёт пока, да ещё и цветёт. Иногда даже двумя цветками. | Neogomessia agavoides is one of the rarities. We bought it adult. Lives so far, and even blooms. Sometimes even with two flowers. |
| От кактусов перейду к другим суккулентам. И так называемых живых камней – литопсов – у меня есть только один вид: lithops insularis. Чувствует себя неплохо и регулярно цветёт ярко-жолтыми, похожими на одуванчики цветами. Выбрала ракурс, чтобы было видно и цветы и само растение. | From cacti I will move on to other succulents. The so-called living stones - lithops - I have only one kind: lithops insularis.Feels good and regularly blooms with bright yellow, dandelion-like flowers. I chose an angle so that both the flowers and the plant itself could be seen. |
| Цветочек анакомпсероса (Anacampseros albissima) не сразу-то и разглядишь. Он на самом кончике растения и размером со спичечную головку. | Anacampseros albissima flower is not immediately visible. It is at the very tip of the plant and is about the size of a match head. |
| А это интересные цветы дорстении (dorstenia foetida). Они неяркие, в тон листьям и стеблю. Но по форме необычные, какого-то инопланетного вида. | And these are interesting flowers of dorstenia (dorstenia foetida). They are greeen, to match the leaves and stem. But the form is unusual, of some kind of alien species. |
| Цветки молочая (Euphorbia) маленькие (0,5см, наверное). Но тоже интересные, если присмотреться. | The flowers of the Euphorbia are small (0.5 cm, probably). But also interesting if you look closely. |
| А эта редкость – псевдолитос (pseudolithos dodsoniana). Стебли в наших условиях слишком вытянулись, но иногда даже цветами радовал. Тоже небольшие, но и по цвету и по форме интересные. | And this rarity is pseudolithos dodsoniana. The stems in our conditions were too elongated, but sometimes they even made me happy with flowers. They are also small, but interesting in color and shape. |
| На этом усилием воли остановлюсь. А то слишком много. :) | I will dwell on this with an effort of will. It's too much. :) |
