Observar y sentir a la naturaleza es una de mis pasiones y desde hace unos días me he puesto más minuciosa al detallar su esplendor. Creo que cada día podemos percibir de ella tanta diversidad que podríamos pasar toda una eternidad admirándola y descubriéndola.
Observing and feeling nature is one of my passions and since a few days ago I have become more meticulous in detailing its splendor. I believe that every day we can perceive so much diversity in nature that we could spend an eternity admiring and discovering it.
En estos tiempos de frío en Venezuela me ha dado por mirar el comportamiento de las hojas y flores ante este clima tan templado, que para nosotros los venezolanos ha sido todo un misterio, avivando la creatividad popular para resguardarnos con abrigos y bebidas calientes a base de infusiones hecha con plantas medicinales entre otros ingredientes.
In these times of cold weather in Venezuela, I have been looking at the behavior of leaves and flowers in this temperate climate, which for us Venezuelans has been a mystery, fueling the popular creativity to shelter us with coats and hot drinks based on infusions made with medicinal plants among other ingredients.
Mientras nosotros los humanos nos entumecemos del delicioso frío las plantas al parecer gozan de tal proceso climático, las veo hermosas, turgentes, rozagantes, revistiendo el follaje con elegancia y a la vez con una sutileza y sencillez que me encanta, y al escribirlo me emociono muchísimo.
While we humans become numb from the delicious cold, the plants seem to enjoy such a climatic process, I see them beautiful, turgid, dewy, covering the foliage with elegance and at the same time with a subtlety and simplicity that I love, and when I write it I get very excited.
Estando en este lugar tengo la oportunidad de percibir de cerca como se comportan las plantas cuando están en temporada de frío. Mi sorpresa fue hace pocos días cuando salí a tomar el sol en la mañana y vi las hojas del orégano oregón como si hubieran sido roseadas de alguna pintura blanca.
Being in this place I have the opportunity to perceive closely how the plants behave when they are in cold season. My surprise was a few days ago when I went out to sunbathe in the morning and saw the leaves of the oregano oregon as if they had been sprayed with some white paint.
Impactada me pregunté cómo y por qué estarían roseadas de pintura, ya desde mi molestia pensado en un posible culpable… para salir de dudas me acerqué poco a poco y descubrir con agrado que el supuesto roseado de pintura eran mínimas gotas agua, enseguida comprendí que se trataba del rocío nocturno que aun la planta no absorbía dándole un toque muy especial a la textura de la hoja.
Shocked, I asked myself how and why they would have been covered with paint, and since my discomfort I thought of a possible culprit... to get out of doubt I approached little by little and discovered with pleasure that the supposed paint was just tiny drops of water, I immediately understood that it was the night dew that the plant had not yet absorbed, giving a very special touch to the texture of the leaf.
Recreando mi imaginación lo asocie a pequeños cristales o diamantes nutritivos que recibieron mis hermosas plantas como regalo de los Reyes Magos siendo aún el mes de enero.
Recreating my imagination I associated it to small crystals or nutritious diamonds that my beautiful plants received as a gift from the Three Wise Men while it was still the month of January.
Realmente me sentí muy orgullosa de poder tenerlas y disfrutar de este regalo visual en una mañana fresca y soleada.
I was really proud to be able to have them and enjoy this visual treat on a cool, sunny morning.
Con estas hermosas impresiones que tomé con la cámara de mi teléfono inteligente ZTE A110, al día siguiente cuando me fui a mi centro de trabajo, una escuela ubicada al oeste de la Cuidad de Caracas, iba con la idea de pasear por el pequeño jardín que tenemos repleto de algunos arbustos grandes y pequeños de carácter medicinal, ornamental y comestible.
With these beautiful impressions that I took with the camera of my ZTE A110 smartphone, the next day when I went to my workplace, a school located west of the city of Caracas, I went with the idea of walking through the small garden that we have full of some large and small shrubs of medicinal, ornamental and edible character.
Entre ellos tenemos: árbol de guayaba, pino, mamón, limoncillo, atroveran- Piper auritum, malojillo, torojil, atamel, cambur y tres pequeños chaguaramos. También tenemos arbustos florales que engalanan el jardín, Todas estas plantas que dan frescura y belleza a nuestra escuelita están bajo el cuidado del señor Luis y el resto del personal.
Among them we have: guava tree, pine, mamon, lemon grass, atroveran- Piper auritum, malojillo, torojil, atamel, cambur and three small chaguaramos. We also have flowering shrubs that adorn the garden. All these plants that give freshness and beauty to our little school are under the care of Mr. Luis and the rest of the staff.
Retomando la idea sobre mi búsqueda del rocío en las plantas Ese día laboral ante de que llegaran los niños y el resto del personal con curiosidad paseo por el jardín para ver si encontraba plantas o flores llenas de rocío… y que sorpresa tan hermosa me llevé al contemplar esta maravilla.
Returning to the idea of my search for dew on plants. That working day before the children and the rest of the staff arrived with curiosity I took a walk to see if I could find plants or flowers full of dew... and what a beautiful surprise I got when I saw this marvel.
Flor de Cayena – Hibicus rosa - sinensis
la flor por excelencia de este recinto, ejemplar esparcido en gran parte del jardín, algunas de tonos pasteles y otras con matices más intensos, en esta oportunidad se encontraban algunas con sus cristales de rocío intactos dispuestas para cubrir mi curiosidad y recrear mi vista con su esplendor.

the flower par excellence of this enclosure, specimen scattered throughout much of the garden, some of pastel shades and others with more intense shades, this time there were some with their dew crystals intact ready to cover my curiosity and recreate my eyes with its splendor.
Realmente quedé satisfecha de este regalo matutino recibido en dos días y lugares diferentes con un rocío mañanero que deleito mi vista dejándome una sensación de plenitud singular.
I was truly satisfied with this morning gift received on two different days and places with a morning dew that delighted my eyes and left me with a singular feeling of fullness.

La flor de cayena 💖 Me recuerda mi adolescencia. Porque en la entrada del edificio donde vivía estaba adornado todo el camino por esta hermosa flor, y el señor a cargo de los cuidados de jardinería las tenía hermosas. Sin duda alguna el frío y las lluvias le dan un toque especial a la Naturaleza. Felicidades por estar despertando en ti ese mágico sentido para percibir su belleza 🤗
