Como he mencionado antes, me encanta la naturaleza, me encantan las plantas, lo verde, amo asomarme a mi ventana admirar por largo rato estas bellezas.
Hello, friends of Hive, nature lovers! Today I want to show you my
little piece of heaven on earth, my garden!As I mentioned before, I love nature, I love plants, I love the green,
I love looking out my window to admire these beauties for a long time.
A lo largo de los años hemos tenido (mi familia) varios tipos de plantas tanto ornamentales como frutales, tuvimos un limonero y un mandarino que lamentablemente perdimos debido a las termitas y 2 mangos enormes que tuvimos que cortar. A pesar de eso ahora hay más oportunidades para otras plantas ya que hay más luz y espacio en el área, les mostrare mis hermosas plantas que con tanto amor y esfuerzo he cuidado, actualmente tengo hierbas aromáticas y medicinales, plantas ornamentales y frutales: cambur y plátano (bananas), coco, parchita (maracuyá), ají dulce y tomate (porque también son frutas), y otras más.
Over the years we have had (my family) several types of plants both
ornamental and fruit, we had a lemon tree and a tangerine that we
unfortunately lost due to termites and 2 huge mangoes that we had to
cut down. In spite of that now there are more opportunities for other
plants since there is more light and space in the area, I will show
you my beautiful plants that with so much love and effort I have taken
care of. Currently I have aromatic and medicinal herbs, ornamental and
fruit plants: bananas and plantains), coconut, parchita (passion
fruit), sweet pepper and tomato (because they are also fruits), and
others.
🍃 El primero es este hermoso árbol que cuando florea perfuma el ambiente con su rico aroma, además ¡es bellísima! Su nombre es Murraya pero se le conoce como Azahar de la India, Jazmín naranja, Limonaria o Mirto.
The first one is this beautiful tree that when it flowers perfumes the
environment with its rich aroma, besides, it is beautiful! Its name is
Murraya but it is known as orange jessamine, Jasmine orange or Chinese
box.
🌿 Aquí hay un montón de hierbabuena, ¡me encanta! | Here's a lot of peppermint, I love it!
🌱 Plantitas de lechosa (papaya) y sábila (aloe vera) esperando a ser sembrada en suelo

🌼 2 plantas de melón en su segunda carga de frutos

De la primera carga solo obtuve 2 melones pequeños pero hermosos y muy ricos. Más adelante les enseñare como sembrar sus propios melones.
From the first batch I only got 2 small but beautiful and very tasty
cantaloupes. Later I will teach you how to grow your own melons.
🌴 Esta es mi favorita, mi cocotero, el cual ya debe tener unos 20 años.
This is my favorite, my coconut tree, which must be about 20 years
old.
🌱 Retoño de parchita (maracuyá) la había cortado porque se seco casi toda y estaba fea, me alegro mucho que le empezaran a salir hojas de nuevo. Espero crezca sana y me de muchas parchitas.
Passion fruit sprout, I had cut it because it was almost all dried out
and it was ugly, I'm very glad that it started to grow leaves again. I
hope it grows healthy and gives me many fruits.
🍅 Mis tres tomateras que quedan. Había más pero las otras fueron atacadas por plagas y hongos y las tuve que arrancar. Estas aun están fuertes y les siguen saliendo frutos.
My three remaining tomato plants. There were more but the others were
attacked by pests and fungi and I had to pull them out. These are
still strong and still bearing fruit.
🍂 La planta de ají dulce más grandecita, tengo otras dos que están pequeñas aun. Esta pronto tendrá muchos ajíes ya que esta floreando.
The biggest sweet pepper plant, I have two others that are still
small. This one will soon have many peppers as it is flowering.
🍊🌱 No todas las esperanzas se han perdido. Hay una historia tras este pequeño mandarino. Como les había mencionado el que tenia se secó debido a las termitas. Luego en ese mismo lugar sembré la planta de parchita y una tomatera, un día estaba limpiando las malas hierbas y vi un retoñito que no parecía ser una mala hierba, cuando noté su olor cítrico supuse que sería un mandarino así que lo coloque en un contenedor y así ha ido creciendo, ya hasta tiene espinas.
Not all hope has been lost. There's a story behind this little
tangerine plant. As I mentioned, the one I had dried up because of
termites. Then in that same place I planted the passion fruit plant
and a tomato plant, one day I was cleaning the weeds and I saw a
little sprout that did not seem to be a weed, when I noticed its
citrus smell I assumed it was a mandarin so I put it in a container
and so it has been growing, it even has thorns now.

I have a neighbor who also likes plants and we have planted other
things together

Estas son prácticamente todas mis plantas! Estoy feliz de poder mostrárselas y espero sirvan de inspiración para todo aquel que aun no se anima a iniciar un huerto y llenar su vida de un poquito de verde

I hope they will inspire those who still don't encourage themselves to
start a garden and fill their life with a little green.

Fantastic garden you’ve got there! Thanks for sharing it. You definitely put a lot of hard work into keeping it healthy, I really like that! Keep it up and you’ll have lots of delicious foods.
If you like medicinal plants and posting about that, I recommend checking out the @naturalmedicine community here on hive. They are a wonderful group of people that love everything natural for things like medicine and other things. They have a great Spanish speaking representative also! I think we would love to see what you are doing for medicinal herbs or what you would like to grow for it.

Que afortunada eres, en mi patio solo entran los 2 carros, y una que otra planta en perolitos.
Ya me imagino en esa casa la comelona de una sopa, o haciendo remedios jeje, o sea, tienes de todo un poco, rodeada de vida que otorga vida y, segpun veo, es algo que saber apreciar.
jajaj bueno vamos a ver cuando esten listas las yucas como va a quedar esa sopa, deberia sembrar auyama tambien. y los remedios uff, tengo malojillo y siempre vienen a pedirme. la naturaleza me encanta y la verdad si no tuviera q trabajar tuviera un bueeen conuco ahi jeje
