Another day at the forest with squirrels

in WE ARE MOVING3 years ago (edited)

Weekends are always a good time for me to go on photography trips since now during the darker time of the year it is probably also the only time when I have time for some photography during the day. Since the sun still sets very early now in late winter / early spring usually when I stop working it is already dark and I can't take pictures of animals like these. In summer time it is much easier since I can also use the time after work during the week to do some birdphotography or photography in the sunlight. Today I used half of my day for some photography in the forest and again I could take several pictures and videos of birds and of squirrels. Since there are some people who bring nuts and other seeds to the bird feeding stations there is always some supply for the squirrels to find.

I really like the green color of the grass and the moss that is coming back again and more and more signs of spring can be found there. A lot of flowers already start to grow and nature slowly starts to wake up from its long "hibernation sleep". Not long and a lot of migratory birds will come back to our region. I am already looking forward to this with great anticipation.

Unfortunately the video of the squirrel is a bit over exposed, because I was filming a blackbird in the undergrowth some minutes before this scene where it was a lot darker and I forgot to correct the exposure. 😥

Squirrels are so cute. I saw a snow-white squirrel in a tree yesterday. They are so fast and nimble that I had no chance to photograph them. In a flash, it had disappeared into the treetop. @missagora

Yeah sometimes they are really fast.

Tolle Bilder - ich mag Eichhörnchen!

Ich auch. Aber das trifft generell auf alle Hörnchen zu.

Very good publication, I love squirrels.

I haven't seen squirrels in my entire life, only on televisions and the internet. I also love the greenery scene on the grass where the squirrel seems to play. Glad you captured it! 🍃

Thank you. There are some in my Region

Adorable squirrel! In a winter gray coat.

Yes but it already starts to get Brown/Red in the front.
