Sigo escudriñando el mundo que me rodea, aun a pesar de las limitaciones de me establece la cuarentena. Sin embargo, esta situación ha despertado más mi curiosidad y he incrementado más mi nivel de atención hacia los pequeños detalles.
I continue to scrutinize the world around me, despite the limitations of quarantine. However, this situation has further aroused my curiosity and increased my level of attention to small details.
En este caso le traigo unas curiosas imágenes del fruto de la planta conocida a nivel científico como Allamanda Cathartica. Aunque, seguramente ustedes la conocerán como Jazmín de Cuba, Copa de Oro, Trompeta Amarilla o como prefiero llamarla yo flor de mantequilla.
In this case I bring you some curious images of the fruit of the plant known on a scientific level as Allamanda Cathartica. Although, surely you will know it as Jasmine of Cuba, Gold Cup, Yellow Trumpet or as I prefer to call it butter flower.
El caso es que mientras, estaba escarbando la planta buscando algún insecto interesante que fotografiar, encontré estas extrañas bolitas, con una superficie espinas. Son parecidas a unos erizos, pero verdes, jajaja, jamás me había dado cuenta que las tenía.
The fact is that while I was digging the plant looking for some interesting insects to photograph, I found these strange little balls, with a thorny surface. They are similar to hedgehogs, but green, hahaha, I never realized I had them.
Después de investigar un poco, me enteré que en efecto esas esferas espinosas, que miden entre 3 y 6 de largo son los frutos de la planta. Se supone que, dentro del fruto contienen numerosas semillas de color pardo amarillenta, de forma oval y aplanada.
After doing some research, I found out that in fact those spiny spheres, which are between 3 and 6 long, are the fruits of the plant. It is assumed that, inside the fruit, they contain numerous yellowish-brown seeds, oval and flattened in shape.
