Isn't this pale blue Bearded Iris very similar to one painted by New Zealander Nancy Tichborne. Nancy says that Iris are her favourite flowers. Indeed she writes that it would be her desert island bloom, that's of course if the island had neutral soil, good drainage and an open, sunny position.

I was walking hunting the sunsets that I like so much, I was passing by a park he looked like a jungle as you will see I also love natural photography and suddenly I find this beautiful red mushroom which I fell in love with because it is my favourite color.

My most favorite red grape to photograph in the Napa Valley is absolutely Merlot. These luscious bunches seem to explode with fruit, and the colors throughout the year transition in a spectrum of greens, violets and purples. To me they always symbolize the quintessential wine country grape look and feel, and are some of my most favorite to eat off directly off the vine.

When I would do tastings with individuals visiting from around the United States, many times people would say “I don’t like merlot, but I love this”. I would always explain that most of the time, the average person out there has usually never tasted a properly grown and produced merlot from an optimal growing region like the Napa Valley. Yes I know that sounds super Napa snobby, but I’ve had enough crappy merlot to know the stuff grown here is exceptional.

Showy goldenrod is a lovely cut flower, usually catching the tail end of the flowering time of sweet blackeyed susan (Rudbeckia subtomentosa) and New York ironweed (Vernonia noveboracensis), both of which appear with it in my little bouquet (third photo). The seed heads are fluffy right now (fifth photo), but I don’t feel the need to save any; showy goldenrod is quite adept at creating its own population! And this is
