Hello Friends,
Today, I’m back with another nature post! Just a day before reaching Dutch Harbour, the main city, we stopped at Manhattan Bay to avoid another night shift. Our trip from Atka Island was quite adventurous, but we made it through!

I wanted to share some incredible shots of the eaglets I managed to capture with my drone, using the zoom feature. I apologise for the quality; I tried to get close, and at one point, I nearly lost the drone! Although these eagles can’t fly yet, they can certainly call for their parents. In one of the photos, you can see an eaglet calling out, and one of the adult eagles came within a metre of the drone.

As we know, the bald eagle is America’s native bird and a powerful symbol, so it’s truly fascinating to see them up close. However, I must admit, I’ve seen quite a few lately!
There’s a myth about eagles undergoing a painful renewal process in old age, involving the breaking off of their beaks and talons. I always believed this to be true, but it turns out it has been debunked, which is quite interesting.
I hope you enjoyed this little blog! Longer posts are coming soon, but if you liked this one, feel free to check out my profile.

Those eagles can't fly yet? I see... The body is already magnificent and I thought it was lucky to have your drone safe in that distance. Nice one 👍

I was surprised myself, they just need a couple of weeks and they will start flying.
