So we saved again :-). The last thematic challenge was probably really good, because no one responded to it.

Greetings to all fans of Amazing Nature Community.

Now seriously. I was hoping to see at least one competition article. There seems to be little underground space (caves) in the world. Does not matter. If you ever meet a cave, take a hard photo. Maybe we will repeat the "cave" theme :-).

But now it's time to announce a new topic. @qwerrie helped me a little. He wanted to watch worms :-). It would probably be more difficult than finding an accessible cave :-). That's why I'll make it a little easier for you.
A new topic for this thematic challenge is

ROADS (corridors, trails)

Don't be too happy. These are not human structures. We deal with nature here and we will stay in nature.
Perhaps every living creature in nature has its territory and moves along it on "trodden" paths (paths). Some indulge in the creation of corridors, or (on their pilgrimage) leave "silver paths", such as snails. Some roads are very "busy" (supply routes of ants), others are barely visible.

Your task for this topic is:

  • take a documentary photo
  • find out to which animal (insect, etc.) the path (corridor, trail) belongs
  • Of course, you can also attribute your experiences in completing the task of the topic

This time I prepared and I don't have to use someone else's photos for a little inspiration :-)

Bark beetle.
He is a master at building corridors. Unfortunately, the trees are dying. But even that belongs to nature.
The first two photos show the activity of a bark beetle on a pine tree.

I took more photos in the spruce forest. For two years now, the Czech Republic has been facing the harmful effects of bark beetles in spruce forests.
The bark beetle "specializes" in the layer between the bark and the wood. By disposing of this layer, it causes the tree to have no nutrients and water and thus dies.

Deer trail.

These trails are sometimes conspicuous and other times barely visible. In any case, we can be sure that these trails have been used for many generations. They most often lead to water.

Sort:

maybe this is a very simple topic, on the contrary: if you know a dry tree near you, wood-boring beetles probably live under its bark. and they probably make corridors in said tree. I can bet for 10 HIVE! 🤓

I would lose that bet and that's why I don't bet :-). It's more about how many users will be willing to go to the forest looking for "roads".

i will love to participate ...i 'm going to look for my paths

I look forward to your competition article :-)

Hi @bucipuci! I just posted my competition article in this community, but I don't know how to show the link here in the comments. Can you explain me how to do it?. Thanks

Hi @majo77
CTRL + C and CTRL + V work in this case too :-)
You simply copy the address of the article into your reply to this comment.
You can find the address of your article in three places:
-browser address bar
-after "hovering the mouse" on the article header in the overview on all blogs
-or maybe in "HiveTasks" after clicking on the line with the title of the article

great pictures

Hi @hive-127788,

Thanks for organizing this cool contest, and I am eager to participate. Just one question in regards to the rules:

What do you mean saying COMMENTARY?
Here: Place a link to your post IN COMMENTARY. You can add an image if you want. It is NECESSARY because I have to publish a link in Discord on Sunday, 5 days later for voting and also for my own compilation purposes.

What do you mean saying COMMENTARY?

A comment is a response to an article announcing a topic. So, if you want to participate in this topic, insert a link to your competition article here. It is the only way for me to find out who will compete :-)

Thank you for your link.
I liked your article, but its focus does not meet the conditions of this competition and therefore I can not place you among the competitors.
I wrote more to you in the comments below the article to which your link points.

please consider:

a) body of your post;
b) comment-section of your post;
c) comment section OF THIS POST - the post where hoster of the Challenge published an announce for this week round.

Yay! 🤗

so, it is just two entries so far? splendid....

Actually three. It took me two days to "explain" majo77 how to insert a link to an article here :-)

this is a blockchain, things arent that easy as it seems, as to what the folks used to!

he might adjust his next post for 10-15% benefit to you, for the lesson and education.

:-)

@qwerrie actually, is a good idea, i will!! @bucipuci was very educated and considerated! :)

It is not necessary :-). Appropriate comments and help are in the job of the moderator :-)

I was just kidding, dont take it too seriously! 😁
