Hola amigos, tenía varias semanas sin hacer vida en el blog, pero eso tiene una explicación: ¡estaba de viaje! Conocí varios lugares en mi país natal, Venezuela, y la verdad me desconecté de esta y muchas otras redes sociales.

De cualquier manera, poco a poco, espero poder ir relatando cada una de las aventuras que he vivido. En esta oportunidad les voy a mostrar un poco de lo que fue la excursión al Río Salmerón, en Guatire, Estado Miranda.

Desde que empiezas a caminar observas agua: la fuerza y abundancia que proyecta el río es indiscutible, el clima es húmedo y el bosque es siempreverde.
From the moment you start walking you see water: the strength and abundance projected by the river is indisputable, the climate is humid and the forest is evergreen.
La flora es hermosísima, lo que más me sorprendió fueron las plantas coloquialmente llamadas "bastón de emperador" o "boca de dragón". En definitiva, es una planta que cuando florece deja a todos fascinados por su morfología y color.

También habían helechos y "dormilonas", entre otras plantas.

Me sorprendió la cantidad de insectos que había. Los que más llamaron mi atemción fueron las hormigas: siempre ejemplo de esfuerzo, orden y solidaridad.

El sendero es hermoso, durante gran parte se bordea el río; y otra parte consiste en atravesar el bosque y el río en sí mismo.

El agua del río Salmerón era cristalina y más o menos profunda, con mucha fuerza en las cascadas. Se sentía una energía maravillosa en el lugar, se podía conectar con la vida a través de esta caminata, rodeados de tanta naturaleza.
The water of the Salmerón River was crystal clear and more or less deep, with a lot of force in the waterfalls. You could feel a wonderful energy in the place, you could connect with life through this walk, surrounded by so much nature.
Disfruté mucho de este paseo, el agua estaba fría, pero sabrosa. Justo el tipo de baño que se necesita después de una larga caminata.
I really enjoyed this walk, the water was cold, but tasty. Just the kind of swim you need after a long hike.
