Hello friends and nature lovers. With this publication I join the thematic challenge from #amazingnature, that this week is about: Surface structure.
The bark of the plants are widely used in the kitchen, such is the case of cinnamon and in medicine; Like the Willow that serves to relieve headaches, muscle aches, inflammation and menstrual pain.
On the surface of a tree we can recognize if it is a relatively new or old tree, this is the same as human skin. When the skin is smooth it is because we are young and we have good hydration, when it is wrinkled it can mean old age or that it lacks nutrition and water.
The circles that are seen when cutting a tree can determine the age of the plant, the more rings it has, the older that tree has or had.
From some of these barks we also extract products that we use to make others, such as latex: the trees of the Euphorbiaceae family that its sap is used in the production of synthetic rubber.
The aborigines are the ones who most use these gifts of nature since they use them as medicine, as food, as poison for their arrows when hunting and as drinks. Some barks are also used to make paper and fabrics such as Ficus.

Hola amigos y amantes de la naturaleza. Con esta publicación me uno al reto temático que esta semana es sobre: Estructura superficial.
La corteza de las plantas son muy usadas en la cocina, tal es el caso de la canela y en la medicina; como el Sauce que sirve para aliviar dolores de cabeza, dolores musculares, inflamaciones y dolores menstruales.
En la superficie de un árbol podemos reconocer si es un árbol relativamente nuevo o viejo, esto resulta igual que la piel del hombre. Cuando la piel es lisa es porque estamos jóvenes y tenemos buena hidratación, cuando está arrugada puede significar la vejez o que le falta nutrición y agua.
Los círculos que se ven al cortar un árbol pueden determinar la edad de la planta, entre más aros tenga más edad tiene o tenía ese árbol.
De algunas de estas cortezas también se sacan productos que nos sirven para elaborar otros, como por ejemplo el látex: los árboles de la familia Euphorbiaceae que su sabia se utiliza en la elaboración de caucho sintético.
Los aborígenes son los que más utilizan estos regalos de la naturaleza ya que los utilizan como medicina, como alimentos, como veneno para sus flechas al cazar y como bebidas. Algunas cortezas también se utilizan para hacer papel y telas como los Ficus.
