Me encanto tu post , porque haces una defensa excelente del sapo, estoy totalmente de acuerdo contigo en lo cruel y despreciativo que son la mayoría de las personas con este animalito, que como tu bien dices cumple como cualquier otro su papel en el equilibrio de la naturaleza y que tiene derecho a vivir. Las personas en general, tenemos la mala costumbre de utilizar los nombres de otros animales para referimos de manera burlista o despreciativa a algún defecto de las personas. Hace un tiempo hice una publicación sobre el uso de la palabra Burro para hacer referencia a una persona ignorante o bruta, que nada tiene que ver con ese noble y tierno animal. Me parece muy bueno que tu menciones que la palabra sapo tambien ha tenido ese uso, debemos enseñar a los niños a respetar a los animales y a no seguir ese mal ejemplo. Buen aporte

Gracias, @popurri por tus palabras, si es cierto.... hay un cuento muy bueno relacionado con el sapo ,del origen o los inicios por parte de Dios de la creación , te cuento. estaban los animales ocupados cada quien en su hacer, y aparece san Pedro ,que siempre a estado junto a Dios, y grita: !el animal con la boca grande es el designado por Dios, para que vaya a buscar el agua que necesitamos hoy, y comienzan los demás animales a reírse! ,y grita el cocodrilo, entonces le toca a el sapo, y se ríen todos los demás, San Pedro se queda mirando de reojo al al cocodrilo que también esta riéndose, y le dice , ¿de que se ríe usted?, si usted es el otro designado para esta tarea vaya y busque su envase......
jajajaja no lo había leído, esta muy buena la moraleja. Es como el dicho, Cachicamo diciéndole al morrocoy conchudo.
