La naturaleza siempre es sorprenderte ,mágica nos muestra la creación perfecta en todos sus sentidos.
En esta oportunidad les voy a compartir estas imágenes de una oruga que vive en mi jardín.llevo varios días observándola y haciéndole seguimiento.

Las oruga son las larvas de los insectos del orden Lepidoptera. Las orugas suelen ser blandas y cilíndricas. Algunas poseen vistosos colores, que advierten de su toxicidad o desagradable sabor.
¿Cómo nacen las Orugas? La mariposa hembra asienta los huevos que alcanzan como máximo 3 milímetros. Mientras ciertas mariposas dejan sus huevos encima de hojas o plantas, algunas lo dejan “en caída libre” durante su vuelo. La oruga crece a la medida en que come, por ende, cambia de piel de manera continua.
Y si que come ,como pueden observar en la fotografía esta oruga se ha comido gran parte de las hojas de esta planta.
Las orugas tienen una alimentación a base de hojas de plantas y árboles. Para poder comer estas hojas, las orugas están provistas de dos fuertes mandíbulas que le permiten triturar sus alimentos hasta que sean los suficientemente blandos para ser digeridos.
La oruga habita en una gran variedad de ambiente y dependiendo de la especie el hábitat puede cambiar. Se pueden encontrar en zonas urbanas, húmedas, bosques, desiertos, praderas y bosques lluviosos.
Durante las mudas la oruga cesa de alimentarse y se inmoviliza. Esto se repite hasta que llega un momento en que dejan definitivamente de alimentarse y buscan un lugar donde crisalidar ,puede ser en plantas, piedras o muros.
