We often try to plant different types of vegetables or fruits in our house. The reason is that our house is in a rural area and there is a lot of space. And in that empty space we plant different kinds of vegetables or different fruit trees. Many years ago we had a lot of banana trees in our house. But suddenly all the trees died in a flood. Then no more banana trees were planted. Many years later, my father brought some banana saplings and planted them on one side of the house. Two years after planting the banana saplings, banana flowers have now appeared on the banana tree.
After many days, seeing the flowers on the banana tree, the joy is feeling a little different. Because banana is one of my favorite foods. Although bananas can be bought from the market and eaten, the taste of eating the fruit of one's own tree is different. Moreover, the bananas available in the market are ripen using ethylene or formalin. Banana is a very popular fruit all over the world.
Moreover, banana flower is a very popular food as a vegetable nowadays. Fry or curry or mash can be made with banana flowers. It is very tasty to eat so its popularity is worldwide. Banana flower has many nutritional properties. Which is very beneficial for our whole body. So banana flower is a popular food among people all over the world because of its taste and nutrition.
However, if the demand for banana flowers is low among the people of the village and the demand for banana flowers among the people of the city is immense. Many people now cultivate bananas commercially and earn extra income by selling banana flowers in the market. This is one of my favorite foods. Especially the small flower that is found in the inner part of the banana flower is very tasty to eat. I have eaten the young part of that banana flower many times as a child and I like it very much.
