"Frozen World"
It was around -17 c° this morning. It is a little bit mild but still around -10 c° and will be around -16 c ° tonight. Everything looks frozen. Trees look very pretty because they have an ice coating. They shine when the sunshine hits them. Looks like glazed donuts or something.
The ground is also very solid. When I stepped on the field, I didn't sink. I felt like I am a little person because I feel like I was floating on the snow. However, I miss spring and warm weather. February and March are a tough time for me to wait for spring warm weather sometimes. I try to enjoy this interesting frozen nature world though.
”凍った世界”
今朝は氷点下１７度でした。日中は少し気温が緩みましたが、それでもマイナス１０度くらいでした。今夜はまた氷点下１６度位まで冷え込むようです。全てが凍っています。木は氷でコーティングされていてとてもきれいです。太陽の日が当たるとキラキラと美しく光っています。ドーナッツの砂糖コーティングのように見えます。
地面もガンガンに凍っています。雪の積もった原っぱに一歩足を踏み入れても足が沈みません。雪の上を浮いているすごく軽い小人のような気分になれます。でも、春が待ち遠しいです。2月と3月は時々春が恋しくて仕方なくなります。そう思っても天候は変わらないので 、なるべくこの凍った自然を楽しむようにしています。

My kids would be going nuts at all the ice and icicles. It sounds like Indiana got a lot of snow recently, about 30cm, and my kids' cousins are sending photos of them standing on huge snow piles, so my kids want to go there now! haha. I told them that's a pretty far trip for just playing in snow. I can enjoy their enjoyment, but I would rather have warmer weather. But it's getting cold here again too. It snowed yesterday (not much, only about a cm, and it soon melted). Anyway, I hope it warms up there soon!
Yeah, kids are going to be so happy with this situation for sure! Schools often close because of the bad road conditions. Winter is playing time for kids and adults!
