I went a little further into the park and saw a jaguar in captivity. The American Jaguar is considered the largest feline in the world, ranking third along with the African lion and the Asian tiger; It has spots on its entire body that are known as rosettes and function as fingerprints, being unique in each species, its jaw is so strong that it is capable of passing through the shell of a turtle, I confess I felt attracted, lying on the grass I observed everything from Suddenly he stopped and began to walk all over his territory, at that moment a deep sadness seized me, his slow walk caught me, I saw him so much that I got his look and as if I was disturbed I began to tell him that I did not like him Seeing him there in that place alone, without other herds, without his natural habitat really saddened me.
I began to explore its environment and noticed a large area set up for its stay, I was able to observe it in the open spaces with trees, shade to protect itself from the inclement sun, a large mirror of water surrounds it and when it walked the entire territory as if showing itself, I was able to observe its corpulent body with a well-groomed and well-fed coat looked calm, cautious, beautiful and imposing. From research carried out, we know that life in captivity causes a change in the natural behavior of animals since those spaces that some people condition limit their natural instincts, such as their reproduction, hunting and coexistence with other species.
It is natural that all the parks in the world have different species, perhaps as a tourist attraction, but they also have them because it is the way to protect them, professionals and specialized researchers seek and attempt their reproduction since many species are in danger of extinction. Hoy sábado mis pasos me dirigen a una a caminata al Parque Miranda, ubicado en el Este de la ciudad de Caracas a esta hora de la mañana mucha gente viene a despojarse del estrés diario de los cinco días de trabajo o de otras obligaciones que le agobian, aquí drenan todas esas emociones y vuelven a sus hogares más livianos. Me adentré un poco más al parque y vi a un jaguar en cautiverio. El Jaguar Americano es considerado el felino más grande del mundo, ocupa el tercer lugar junto al león africano y el tigre asiático; posee en todo su cuerpo manchas que son conocidas como rosetas y funcionan como huellas dactilares siendo únicas en cada especie, su mandíbula es tan fuerte que es capaz de traspasar el caparazón de una tortuga, confieso me sentí atraída, echado en la grama observaba todo a su alrededor de pronto se paró y comenzó a caminar todo su territorio, en ese momento me embargo una tristeza profunda su lento caminar me atrapo, lo veía tanto que me conseguí con su mirada y como si yo estuviera perturbada comencé a hablarle que no me gustaba verlo ahí en ese lugar sólo, sin otras manada, sin su hábitat natural de verdad me entristeció.
Comencé a explorar su entorno y noté una gran área acondicionada para su estadía, lo pude observar en los espacios abiertos con árboles, sombra para protegerse del inclemente sol, un gran espejo de agua lo rodea y cuando caminó todo el territorio como mostrándose pude observar su corpulento cuerpo con un pelaje bien cuidado y bien alimentado se veía tranquilo, cauteloso, hermoso e imponente. Por investigaciones realizadas sabemos que la vida en cautiverio provoca un cambio en el comportamiento natural de los animales ya que esos espacios que algunas personas le acondicionan los limita de sus instintos naturales, como son su reproducción, caza y la convivencia con otras especies.
Es natural que todos los parques del mundo tengan diferentes especies quizás como atracción turística, pero también los tienen porque es la vía para protegerlos, los profesionales e Investigadores especializados buscan e intentan su reproducción ya que muchas especies están en vías de extinción.
